Although a scientist and physician for most of her adult life, Dori Friedberg has always relished working with her hands. She is drawn to the natural world as inspiration for creating uniquely textured jewelry and spoons. Many of her ideas for surfaces come from discoveries made while walking in the streets in New York City, while working in the garden or while wandering along the beach in Santa Barbara, California.
