"My sterling silver bracelet was inspired by an ancient bracelet from Africa I found in an art exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The original bracelet didn't have any texture to it and I thought it would look more interesting with more depth to the design. My favorite animal is the African elephant and adding the texture of the skin would be a nice way to add more to the bracelets character. The links of the piece are held together with a soft faux leather."
