Shari Stadel creates metalwork possessing organic, amorphous qualities; natural works made from inorganic materials. The goal is to craft jewelry that offers a sense of her personal design philosophy: warm, austere, shapely, jointed and alive. Inspiration comes from a myriad of sources – ancient symbols, stonework, old textile books, flora, latticework and even dreams. Shape, angle, texture and aura all coalesce to form works that she hopes are of lasting spirituality and beauty.
